Exploring our global underwater environments takes a individual commiment to safety, training competency and knowledge of the aquatic environment. NASE training goal is to ensure the individual has confidence in their self and their equipment to ensure a great underwater exploring adventure. NASE focus is to build confidence and proper diving techniques for safe diving.

Competency Based Training:

NASE competency based training approach to dive training does not dictate what all the diving instructor will cover or how many sessions above the minimum and diving courses are necessary before a student has “learned” the course subject matter or can demostrate competecy in the course subject matter. Instead, our student-centered approach to diving lessons approaches every student individually and instructs them how to perform the real-world academic and practical diving skills necessary to be successful at course completion and a safe diver.

Reality:

Dive training should be based on the way the world’s best diver’s dive — instead of on how a group of self-appointed experts say that they “should” dive, or traditional possibly outdated approaches to dive training. NASE offers real-world, up-to-date diving lessons and our diving instructors bring unparalleled experience to each of NASE diving courses.

Make it Environmentally Responsible:

Students internalize what they see and experience during dive training. NASE helps make sure this example inspires safe and environmentally responsible divers. One of the ways we do this is by ending every dive with a slow ascent and safety stop. Our diving instructors also teach divers environmentally friendly practices such as ways to minimize contact with the bottom, as to leave it undisturbed.
